Newport Kush Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Winner of @thenewyorkgrowerscup @odeetrees is a NY cultivator specialize in providing that unique, exclusive NY 💨Gas. My first review on @odeetrees is with the Newport Kush. The Newport Kush consist of First Class Kush( Kkv1) x The Menthol ( Gelato 45 x White diesel x High Octane x Jetfuel Gelato). The first class Kush is a bagseed created by @f1rstclassgas from the Khalifa Kush. The nugs came out medium size, fluffy, light sticky buds. The colors of Newport green color calyx blend with mint color leaves 🍃, carrot color pistils, almond flour color trichomes. The scent is a pinene infused, slight og dank aroma . The palate is an earthy, soil, menthol, myrcene, spicy caryophyllene. The first class Kush is dominant on the palate, reminding me of that potent Khalifa Kush. I also tasted the licorice, peppermint sweetness, peppery of The Menthol. The effects are an immediate onset, medium level cerebral high. The buzz starts around 7-8 pulls in, feeling the full potential around more than half the sesh. The smoking experience is reasonable, but can improve. The inhale starts smooth turning a bit harsh on the exhale 😮‍💨. The ashes burned 70/30 more salt than pepper at first, turning into a 50/50 around half the sesh. The high is one of the main highlight of this cultivar, effecting the mind and followed by a relaxing body high. I also experience eyes low syndrome, chest lock. In conclusion Newport Kush has its ups 😬 and downs. The highlights 👌🏽 are the appeal, nose, effects. The palate is not my favorite due to the smoke experience. The spicy backend transpire to the harsh exhale. The changes on the ashes and taste from beginning to end are steps that can improve on the next run. Overall still a great Kush adventure to experience on a NY minute. — Newport Kush – 3.5/5
