Aroma~
Purple Sauce has a fresh candy and bright earthy profile that I believe has either Gelato or Zkittlez in the genetics. I say this because it’s a familiar candy mixed with a fresh and earthy smell that’s just very pleasing to the nose. The earthiness I’m talking about smells like fresh cut ballpark grass mixed with some funky candy. When I put it through my Flower Mill, the candy side of the aroma came out much more with a beautiful bright and sweet smell.
Taste~
The flavors on this strain consist of bright, sweet, and earthy notes. I will say the aroma could have transitioned into the flavor much better as it got boring to me. It has medium lung expansion and no harshness which is good. I feel like I’m picking up some Z flavors but overall there’s not too much to talk about. I definitely like the aroma better than the flavor.
Effects-
Purple Sauce is a hybrid strain that can be ideal for any time of the day. Initially I felt a nice slight body high that felt floaty which was different so I enjoyed that. There is a good amount of focus and motivation which I can see myself using for productivity or keeping the mind clear. The eye pressure is light so it won’t knock you out and there is a nice head high that creates a pressure around the temples of the head. This high is not heavy enough to be a nightcap so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. Overall this is a calming, clearheaded, and happy high that can be useful in the daytime.
Recap~
To conclude Purple Sauce was a good smoke and it was nice trying this brand again. I recently learned that this is a split off brand of the Life is Not Great brand. I’m glad I got to try this but I don’t think I’m going to try again unless I get more information about the genetics or something they release catches my eye.
Cheers💨
