IYKYK Toad Venom Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain’) Review
When you first open the jar, you’re hit with a complex blend of aromas floral, creamy, funky, swampy, rich, sharp, sweet, slightly sour, earthy, savory, with hints of cheese, lime zest, and overripe fruit. On the breakdown, it smells sweet, rich, creamy, earthy, funky, tropical, and greasy. On the inhale, it’s rich and floral, with creamy, funky, gassy, sweet notes and a slight citrus fruity kick.
On the exhale, the flavors deepen into sweet, creamy, fruity, gassy, cakey, rich tropical earthiness with a strong umami finish. It tastes like you mixed ice cream with a Cactus Cooler and made a float. The flavor translates perfectly from the smell. The smoke is smooth but thick, expanding in the lungs with every hit. The high hits with euphoric, relaxing, spacey, carefree, and creative energy. It starts in the head light and airy like someone gently squeezing the sides of your skull.
You feel it settle behind the eyes, making them low and heavy, while your muscles and nerves begin to fully relax. Your body starts to feel light, almost weightless, and you’re left with a heavy sense of euphoria. It clears the mind and gives you a push to get up and do something t’s a social smoke. Definitely more of a midday strain, perfect for after work, or an outdoor adventure. This was my first time trying this brand and it was definitely smoking. From the smell, to the flavor, to the high it delivered a full experience that leaves you wanting more.
