Violet Fog Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
In terms of visual appeal, the Violet Fog is magnificent. The base coloration of the nugs is lime and tea green, but each bud is cloaked in a cocoon of dark violet leafage, sinuous ginger pistils, and shimmering silvery trichomes. These condescend and rounded little pieces of eye candy are a multicolored amalgamation of vivid features and scintillating crystals. The trichomes themselves are copious, with long stalks and sizable, granular resin glands 🤩 The nose on the Violet Fog is superb. It’s a sweetened and slightly musky aroma that excites the scent receptors from first crack of the jar. The smell is characterized by sweet Concord grape terpenes that are reminiscent of grape jelly, followed by a substantial kushy undercurrent that has musky woody and floral notes. Overall, the ground product smells like freshly squeezed grape juice, kush, and spiced diesel 🍇 The flavor on the Violet Fog is incredible. It translates flawlessly with a fresh, sweet grape forward paired with lightly-spiced diesel fuel. The flower has a kush-heavy exhale that becomes more prominent as the joint burns down, dripping with savory and musky kush terps. It reminds me of damp wood, cloves, and burnt fuel, all marinated in grape juice. The flower has an ample grape aftertaste that fades into an ambrosial sweet earthiness that left me smacking my lips long after finishing smoking ⛽️ The Violet Fog has a remarkably potent effect. One joint left me feeling significantly sedated with heavy cognitive pressure and tangible body tingles all over. It’s a solid, medicating effect that is great for aches and pains, but can produce couch-lock and invoke sleep if you aren’t careful. The flower is sticky, stickier still when broken into, and produces a moderate to heavy amount of both small and large grain kief when ground. It’s a remarkably smooth smoke that burns perfectly all the way down 😶🌫️ All in all, the Violet Fog is astounding. It smashes the boxes for visual appeal and high while providing a tantalizing new school grape kush profile. It’s a compelling cultivar that is likely to satisfy with every hit 🔥Check out more reviews by @pnw_chronic on Instagram! (www.instagram.com/pnw_chronic)
