Not having had any flowers from Pure and Proper before, I was excited to see how their rendition of Zkittlez fared, retailing at an eye watering price, with subtle branding dispensed in a glass jar. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a sweet, nose tingling rendition of Zkittlez, displaying refreshing floral notes of candy, cream and cherries with hints of sour grapefruit and peaches. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a typical Zkittlez structure. They were a shade of light green alongside messy light rustic pistils and absolutely caked in gleaming trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering an extremely sweet and creamy Zkittlez profile with notes of candy, cherries and cream alongside a subtle earthiness with hints of grapefruit and light peaches. The taste of this sweet creamy Zkittlez was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, despite retailing very costly, each person has a different price and it is difficult to answer whether the flower is worth it, as most flower isn’t worth some of the money we pay really and truly, however like designer brands as an analogy; you can buy a cheap shirt which does what it is meant to, or you effectively buy a branded one which does the same thing but at a higher price, holding the brands exclusivity and obvious higher quality. Regarding the actual flower itself, I overall found Z to be a perfected rendition of Zkittlez, being one, if not the best Zkittlez tried in a long time, delivering an enjoyable creamy and sweet exotic profile, outperforming a lot of well known brands. It smoked exceptionally well, ticking all boxes and with no dialling in required will remain a classic staple of Pure and Proper’s lineup.
