Having enjoyed the Reverze counterpart of World Is Yours Exotic’s Panda, I was interested to see how this original fared, cultivated by Skrilly The Kid. With the branding continuing a playful take on the Rolex Daytona. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a familiar scent of Zoap, displaying floral and sweet notes of Sherbet with exotic guava and cherry traits, alongside light earthy and candy undertones. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of light green alongside short rustic pistils and covered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, exhibiting its faintly sweet and floral Zoap Sherbet lineage, alongside a Cookies influenced earthiness with traits of cream and chemicals. The taste of this Sherbet dominant Zoap was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I overall found Panda to deliver traits of its lineage effectively, however I found its genetics to cancel each other out slightly, leaving an earthier dominance than expected, in comparison to its tasty Reverze counterpart. It smoked fairy well, ticking some boxes and with further dialling in required, can hopefully be further improved, primarily on its taste and remain a distinctive staple of the WIYE’s lineup.
