5.0 Runtz Strain Review

Mount Burnin speeding into their own lane with the 5.0 Runtz. Quickly opening the bag, I am immediately smacked with an array of sweet, stinky, flower scent. I smell a purple candy like sweetness that is layered in a deep manure like scent. The overall smell totally remniscent of a Magnolia flower. I got very bits of earthieness and fuel, but the candy like sweetness kept me very distracted. Rolling up the 5.0 was a treat to say the least. The scent translates over to the flavor really well, but from the combustion has a very interesting turn. It was very floral-like and sweet, but in this batch for me, the flavor leaned a lot more on the purple candy side. I could distinctively remember the progression of taste reminding me of eating a grape tootsie pop. Sweet candy initially, with a bold yet sweet and creamy flavor as you continue to smoke. Out of any Runtz I have tried this was easily the best and most interesting flavor I have found. I have to say, after my first time smoking the 5.0 it was up. The bag went really fast. I had a great time shooting the buds, and an even better time smoking them. The trimming is nice and tight, and the buds look excellent. They are also cured really well and are consistent with the previous mount burnin packs I have had. Soft and easy to break down, not excessively sticky but still gracing your fingers with resin. The effects from the 5.0 had me feeling tranquil and relaxed. I was stuck like a statue, but putting food away like a competitive eater. The 5.0 was definitely one of those strains. With the great physical sedation came a nice sense of mental relief and calmness. I would easily grab this stuff again and really need to get my hands on more of their work.
