Round 2, FIGHT! Back at the table today is another MMM 2g jar of cold cure Rosin. I’m really digging the top stickers on these jars – would love to see a colorful picture of a bunch all cropped together! Last review I didn’t have enough room to highlight the collabs for these jars. Every jar I have in the stash has a logo on the side for ‘Gaia Gardens’ who I assume is the grower and MMM is the washer? The GG logo has a location designation of ‘Hayfork,CA’. This jar had a ‘sugar, water, purple’ comic bubble with Dave Chapelle on the side😄 I wish that I could say this tasted as good as some Purple Drank but were not quite there ☹️
When I think Purple Drank, there’s only 1 flavor I’m thinking of. This jar of Rosin was the complete opposite of that – ok, not completely….The nose was wonderful and reminded me of grape if I really smelled it hard! I had to agitate this Rosin for a few days to bring out the flavor. Taste, was lackluster unfortunately. If you had blind passed this to me in a taste/smell test, grap drink wouldn’t have been on the list of guesses. When I close my eyes and taste this I just get hashy floral flavor – very muted flavors here. I was really hoping for a knockout Grape Flavor here 😩
This was 2 for 2 that were disappointing from Mountain Man Melts. SURELY, THIRD TIME IS A CHARM? I have to give this jar a 5 out of 10. It had a hint of Grape smell but zero flavor 😔 am I tripping here or am I missing something?
