Dab Review: Strawberry Cream Cake Rosin by Soil Built – Second Wash Series

This marks the first review in the Soil Built Second Wash Series – and the first time I’ll be using the ‘tasting grid’ for reviews. If you not familiar with Soil Built, then you need to go check out their Instagram right now! Considered to be top shelf Rosin – the second Wash jars are actually quite tasty 🔥 I was pleasantly surprised by the 4 I was able to snag 😎 If your not familiar with how Rosin is created and what a 2nd wash is: it’s the 2nd time that starting material is washed and product is collected that is turned into Rosin. Some might consider it a “diet” version and generally these are priced at a lower cost than their earlier 1st wash counterparts.

Having never tried the 1st wash of Strawberry Cream Cake I had no reference point for this review. I’m also coming off being daycare sick for a week so my nose and taste buds are not quite back to 100% working order. This stuff was so yummmyyyy. The nose smells like a sweet Strawberry pastry and is true to the name 🤌 Right at the end you get a slight whiff of gasoline ⛽️ I let this get to room temp and then set for a few days with agitation. By day 3 it’s was poppin in the nose department 👃 Dabs are a sweet treat of pastry like taste and some earthy hashy at the end. Such a tasty delight to have on deck. Dabbing on ultra low (505 deg) really let this stuff breath 🌬 and the flavors came out great.
Overall I was super impressed with this jar of Rosin tbh. I went in with no expectations and have enjoyed this on the daily. Giving this a solid 8.75 all around. Just straight up good ass flavorful and stinky Rosin 👌That’s what we’re here for right?? 🙌🙌
