Review: Peak Pro 3D XL Chamber by Puffco

It’s finally here. The party bowl for your Puffco: The Puffco 3D XL Chamber. The sesh starter – or sesh ender, depending on who loads it. “Meant for globs” as Certified Ganjier, Tyler Martin says. Puffco’s new release sold out almost immediately. So if you want one now – like I do – you’ll need to get in line (online) or find a friend who was lucky enough to have snagged one. The amount of stories I’ve heard of almost being able to buy a 3D XL during the first drop is staggering and makes me believe that at least the next few drops will suffer a similar fate. As The Beatles once sang:

“I get high with a little help with my friends.”

This past week, I got to sesh with a friend over a Puffco 3D XL… First up in the e-slurper (because that’s what it is) was some Purple Paro rosin from Seeds of Kismet. It’s a Bhutanese landrace and couldn’t think of a better rarity to try as the first puff of the 3D XL. I then tried some Grape Gas and some other stuff that knocked my socks off. Within an hour I had two separate instances of the dab sweats and passersbys were definitely staring. Frankly, my memory of the whole sesh is a little hazey besides very distinct positive vibes and sharp dabby tastes in my mouth. Really, you’ll look at your e-rig with a newfound sense of appreciation. Does the Puffco 3D XL waste less hash? I’d say yes, because you can hit it as hard as you want without stuff going into the slits. On the other hand, you’ll likely end up with just as big if not bigger of a reclaim puddle and how much is “wasted” in there is entirely up to personal perception and usage schedules. You’ll need a new Peak Pro, you’ll need to update it, and you’ll ended to spend $125 on the 3D XL but in terms of upgrading your regular Puffco experience with as-close-to-torch-and-quartz as I’ve ever tried, this is the one. Suffice to say, if you felt the original Puffco Peak Pro 3D chamber was an upgrade, you’ll feel the same way about the 3D XL, too. Haven’t tried Puffco?
