Strain Review: Chem D by Whateverthatscool x Lexter’s Dabs

It’s about time I reviewed something from one of my favorite cultivators. @whateverthatscool is known for popping & naming one of my favorite modern short flowering piff hazes, Haley’s Comet, but honestly, I love almost anything he grows, because he doesnt release shit that doesnt come out fire. There have been more than 1 instance where I smelled a jar at an event of something they grew & for 1 reason or another, didnt get a crazy smell from it but bought it anyway & when I got home I realized how fire it was.
This Chem D is exactly what I look for in any chem I smoke, diesel/gas leaners. This one is low on funk heavy on gas, 3 words to describe it, funky skunky gas. It taste delicious, mouth coating fuel that still has the Chem funk but its not offensive enough to ruin the diesel tones & gassy backend. Im not sure if the no till organic living soil has anything to do with this but usually every strain I pickup from Lexters has loud terps, doesnt ever loose terps, & stays fresh for a long time. True quality smoke. Bag appeal is crazy, perfect fluffy/denseness, bud structure is crystally classic chem sour type bud structure. This Chem D was cured perfectly & released at the perfect time, it was still sticky as fuck but smoking clean, smooth & potent. The high was on the stronger side but it wasnt no shit thats gunna make you start dope fiend leaning but also not gunna have you running off the walls, its a very creative kind of slow motion high where u wanna grab a pen & pad, throw a beat on & write a rap u will never record.
1 second ur breakin up a .7, next thing you know its been 4 hours, u got a fire verse written & u forgot to pickup ur kid from the bus stop 2. Clean high tho, no heavy come down. If you love chem, especially gas leaners that still have the classic Chem funk, this is your type of smoke. I loved this batch, checked all boxes for me, I cant wait to see the next batch. I am so thankful to have growers like @whateverthatscool who keep all the legacy gas strains & classic oldschool hazes on heavy rotation. One of the best & underrated growers on the East Coast.
