Being part of their 7UP series, with the branding referencing the carbonated lemon and lime beverage. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a rush of sweet candy, displaying notes of cherries and strawberries, reminiscent of bubblegum. This inviting deep centred sweetness was complemented by an earthy, creamy Gelato gas, exhibiting traits of fuel, distant pine and hazelnut. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green, with rustic pistils and purple hues barely visible behind a thick layer of almost white glistening trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a sweet candy and Gelato infusion. Displaying notes of cherries and strawberries, alongside a creamy, earthy and chemical gas with sweet hazelnut and light pine undertones. This delicious bubblegum infusion was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced soft fluffy ash, being a shade of very light silver, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I was left very impressed with my first experience from Mamey’s Bodega. Although Cherry 7UP is essentially just a Runtz, it smoked flawless compared to a lot of others on the market, producing almost immaculate light fluffy ash, accompanied by an equal flavour and smoothness. With no real criticism to be made, Cherry 7UP will remain a great staple to the Mamey’s Bodega lineup. Review underway for its Limonata counterpart. cherry 7up by mameys bodega strain review by cannoisseurselections
