Having seen the new lineup from The Munchies Factory make its presence around the UK for a while now, I was interested to see how they fared. With their Cream Pie being a recommended favourite.
Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a unique refreshing and uplifting infusion of bubblegum candy with hints of pine. Displaying notes of cherries, strawberries and cream alongside a gentle earthy gas, with dominant traits of citrus, pine, mint and spice. The buds were of a mixed density and having a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green with rustic pistils, coated in an almost white layer of trichomes.
Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by an earthy gas with traits of cream and chemicals, accompanied by extremely subdued notes of cherries and strawberries. This lustreless earthy, creamy and mildly sweet gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of almost white to very light silver, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked fairly smooth and tasted partially clean.
To conclude, I found Cream Pie to smoke fairly well, producing appeasing white ash with an adjoining thick oil ring, however unfortunately the sweet candy traits exhibited in the smell did not translate fully into the taste which disappointingly left an overall lustreless finish. With some further dialling in required, hopefully Cream Pie will be a worthy staple to the Munchies lineup.
