Never having had any flowers from Skrilly The Kid before, I was interested in seeing how this unique and interesting cross fared. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of chemicals and fuel, with strong peanut overtones alongside light menthol and faintly sweet caramelised onion traits.

The buds were of a soft to medium density, harbouring an appeasing oil content and had a hybrid structure. They were a medium shade of golden green with sporadic hues of purple, covered in messy rustic pistils and drenched in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell. Delivering notes of chemicals and fuel infused with caramelised onions and hints of menthol, complemented by partially sweet cherry, cream and Kush undertones. The taste of this in depth sweet chemical earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside a gushing and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found Dulce De Petrol to deliver its unique lineage well, exhibiting a tasty infusion of both Cold Heat and Yahemi, displaying a profile rarely encountered. With some further dialling in required it can be further improved and remain a high place on Skrilly The Kids lineup.
