Strain Review: Grandi Candi by Grandiflora Genetics
Grandi Candi Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
SMELL: 8.9/10 FLAVOUR: 8.8/10 SMOOTHNESS: 9.1/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 9/10 STRENGTH: 9.3/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 8.9/10 Having had both The Riddalah and Red Velvet Series, I was excited to try Grandi Candi, which actually shares the same lineage as both flowers, par from swapping the Red Velvet straight to LCG, which essentially removes the Pina Acai. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of a creamy and slightly musty Gelato and E85 influenced gas, smelling similar to the Riddalah and Red Velvet Series, however this enticing aroma was well balanced with noticeable sweet cherry and candy overtones, displaying the LCG traits. This concoction of creamy candy gas, was further enhanced by sweet hazelnut, and light citrus notes, with the scent leaning slightly more to the sweeter side. The buds were of a hard density, having a foxtail and boulder like structure, being a shade of medium green hiding behind a layer of violet, alongside purple guts, with minimal hydroponic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by well balanced notes translating from the smell, delivering an infusion of appeasing creamy candy notes consisting of sweet cherries, and citrus, complemented effectively by a slightly dominating Gelato influenced gas with unique Kush notes from the E85, as well as faint but distinguishable Project 4516 traits. The taste of this sweet unique gas is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light silver, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. With Grandi Candi being a unique cross of LCG, delivering a distinctive creamy gassy E85/Gelato taste compared to the standard LCG profile normally encountered, this makes a great flower. It smoked very well, and is my favourite so far from Grandiflora Genetics, leaving Bluez Qluez next to post up.True & unbiased topshelf Cali flower reviews.
