Although not being too overly enthusiastic on grape dominant strains, with this being a popular release from Jokes Up, boasting an interesting lineage, I was interested to see how it fared. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of refreshing grape soda infused with faint menthol and eucalyptus, alongside fragrant notes of sour sweet berries and cherries, complemented by undertones of citrus and subdued creamy candy. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure.

They were a shade of medium to light green, with sporadic hues of purple, alongside minimal rustic pistils and absolutely doused in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a distinctive infusion of grapes, gas and sour candy. Delivering notes of refreshing grape soda and sourly sweet berries with faint traits of menthol, pine, eucalyptus and rubber, complemented by a sour chemical and earthy gas with sweet subdued candy and cherry undertones.

The taste of this unique gassy grape dominant candy was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I ultimately found Green Men to deliver an enjoyably unique gassy candy, exhibiting a tasty but not overpowering distinctive grape influence. It smoked well, and ticked most boxes and with a little further dialling in will remain a powerful distinctive staple of Jokes Up’s lineup.
