Having previously enjoyed last years release of Lemon Raspberry Gelato, I was optimistic to try this latest drop. Arriving with new attractive packaging. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an extremely sweet syrupy candy essence, displaying strong notes of cherries and light strawberries alongside sharp notes of citrus with a dash of menthol and deep Gelato undertones. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had both a hybrid and boulder structure. They were a shade of light green, behind a thick layer of almost white trichomes, with minimal messy rustic pistils. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by an even balance of candy and Gelato with noticeable hints of Haze. D
elivering subtle syrupy bubblegum traits of cherries and strawberries, alongside an earthy Gelato presence with citrus overtones. The taste of this candy gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, as always I overall found LRG to deliver a tasty candy Gelato profile with distinctive syrupy and hazy traits. With slight room for improvement LRG will always remain a strong staple of Cannatique’s lineup.
