Strain Review: Project Zoap by Brummie Boys x Exotic Brs

PROJECT ZOAP
LINEAGE: (RAINBOW SHERBET V2 X PINK GUAVA #16 F2 PHENO 21) X ZKITTLES

With an array of attractive packaging and current trending strains to suit, I was interested to see if Brummie Boys and Exotic Brs renditions would stand out from other brands. With the first to review being Project Zoap. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of the familiar scent associated with Zoap, displaying a uniquely floral and fruity infusion amongst a light gassy backend. Noticeable notes of guava prevailed, alongside fresh grapefruit, with distinctive soapy but sweet detergent undertones (giving Zoap its name). The buds were of a hard density, having a boulder structure, being a shade of light green with attractive pink and purple guts, alongside light rustic hydroponic hairs, and home to a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly greeted by a light floral sweetness, displaying notes of guava and faint grapes, transcending into a somewhat sweet infused detergent taste. The unique sweetness described was partly subdued and started to dissipate upon exhaling, with an OG dominant gas prevailing. Disappointingly, an anticipated creamy strawberry finish experienced with other Zoaps was not apparent. The joint produced ash being a shade of white to very light silver, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, as a first flower by BB and EB I was left feeling pretty impressed with this rendition of Zoap. Although a midrange Zoap, it ticked all the boxes, and smoked very well (once aired out). With some dialling in required, I would personally like to see the sweetness dominate the overall flavour, and be retained throughout. This would help deliver the missing creamy strawberry finish associated with some other Zoaps I have previously tried.
