Strain Review: Strawberry Runtz by Jungle Boys

Still in date, and like always, the flower has been cured and stored in correct environments. Having had a few hit and miss JBs, especially this strains parent (Strawberries and Cream), I did not know what to expect with this, but as Runtz has been added to the mix and coming in at a THC and total sum rating of 39.008%, I thought I’d give it ago. Upon opening the pack, I received an array of aromas. I first got a rush of sweet strawberries, covered in cream, but suddenly found them doused in a burnt rubber, superglue and tart overtone. In this already complex infusion, also had a subtle mint cookie in the mix and the generic Jungleboys scent on top, (which I identify on most of their strains; a kind of hazey fizz). Cracking the bud released a pungent, super glue and Mimosa mix. For a JBs, the buds were surprisingly dense. They were golden green, with rustic orange hairs and full of trichomes. On the inhale, my mouth instantly filled with a creamy, strawberry flavoured cookie, it transcended into a candy Runtz, ending with a gassy finish on the exhale. The taste of a Mimosa, with sweet strawberry added notes remained on my tastebuds after each hit. The joint had a constant oil ring dripping and immaculate fluffy white ash to match. To be perfectly honest, this flower has really ticked all the boxes, burning smooth and flavoursome the whole way. I recommend making a cocktail by mixing it with Blue Zushi. Some crazy terps. I would definitely purchase this again.
