Never having had this unique cross before, I was interested in seeing how it fared. Boasting a modest 34.59% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I initially received a fairly dull aroma, consisting primarily of an old school earthy and spicy Skunk essence.
On further examination I discovered a deep centred pungent gas exhibiting notes of glue infused with faint peanuts. The highly anticipated notes of fruity papaya and creamy Zkittles from the Moonbow were unfortunately not present.
The buds were of a soft to medium density, having both a foxtail and typical Jungleboys structure. They were a shade of light to medium green with sporadic hues of light purple, alongside rustic pistils, and home to a universe of trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a pleasant earthy gas with creamy and spicy traits, exhibiting strong notes of menthol, peanuts and floral sherbet alongside a highly subdued sweet cherry and and papaya backend. The taste of this nutty menthol dominant gas is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I ultimately found Puro Loco to deliver an acquired taste of minty, creamy and floral sherbet gas, not being as sweet as anticipated.
Although it was not greatly to my personal taste preference, it was highly potent and smoked fairly well, ticking a fair amount of boxes. With some further dialling in, Puro Loco will make a great choice for enthusiasts of gassy and old school strains.
