From enjoying Highmart’s Type 2, I was interested in seeing how their Type 3 installment fared. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an infusion of gas and sweet candy. Displaying extremely sweet notes of strawberries and cherries, complemented by a pungent earthy Gelato with notes of sour chemicals and cream alongside sharp citrus, musky and piney overtones.

The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green with hues of purple, behind a thick layer of almost white trichomes, with messy rustic pistils. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by an earthy and mildly sweet creamy gas. Delivering creamy dominant and earthy notes of Gelato with traits of sour chemicals and pine, alongside a lighter than anticipated infusion of strawberries and cherries, with faint citrus and fuel undertones.

The taste of this mildly sweet creamy gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I overall found Highmart’s Type 3’s to deliver a fairly average candy profile with distinctive creamy, citrusy and sour gassy undertones, not tasting as sweet as anticipated from the smell. With further dialling in required, hopefully Type 3 can be further improved and retain a place on High Mart’s lineup, against its preferred Type 2.
