Strain Review: Vodou by Grandiflora Genetics
Vodou Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
SMELL: 8.7/10 FLAVOUR: 8.1/10 SMOOTHNESS: 7.9/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 8.3/10 STRENGTH: 9.1/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 8.1/10 Another similar cross to the other Grandiflora flowers reviewed, we have Vodou. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of a smell reminiscent of its other phenotype The Riddallar. Displaying a distinctive creamy E85 and Doggy Bag infused gas, with an overpowering fruity and musty concoction displaying distant Pink Kush genetics, mixed with notes of marzipan and dragonfruit (pitaya). The buds were of a medium density, having a foxtail structure, being a shade of medium green, under a purple layer alongside violet hues, with minimal rustic hairs, and showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by a dominating gas with sweet and floral Kush notes, paying homage to its Project 4516 and Wedding Cake lineage. Faintly musty and sweet candy notes consisting of grapes, developed in the background, remaining partly subdued, with a predominant gas being left on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light silver, alongside a sweating and dripping resinous oil ring, smoking both partly smooth and tasting partly clean. To conclude, although a little further dialling is required, I could appreciate the uniqueness of Vodou with it standing out from other similar flowers in the market. Overall I found it to be a nice smoke, and preferred it over its counterpart The Riddallar.True & unbiased topshelf Cali flower reviews.
