Strain Review: Wagyu by THE TENco
Wagyu Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
SMELL: 9.4/10 FLAVOUR: 7.8/10 SMOOTHNESS: 8.8/10 ASH APPEARANCE: 8.6/10 STRENGTH: 9.3/10 OVERALL SMOKE: 7.7/10 With Wagyu being a staple flower on Tenco’s expanding lineup, it was only appropriate that it was added to my list of reviews. Being a cross of Biscotti and Gelato 41, the smell never disappoints. Upon opening I instantly received an eagerly anticipated rush of an extreme pungent Gelato gassiness, with noticeable Biscotti nutty overtones, displaying very light menthol and fuel traits. The buds were of a hard density, alongside an overly rounded boulder structure. They were a medium to light shade of green, with sporadic rustic hydroponic hairs, covering a deep ocean of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was greeted by a subtle gas, influenced by a light balance of Gelato and Biscotti, with faint nutty undertones and a concealed sweetness. The taste remained upon exhaling, transcending into a gassy but dull savoury taste, almost like meat, paying homage to its name. Leaving the overall taste not quite translating as robustly from the smell as anticipated. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium grey, alongside an absolute gushing and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively clean, however I feel the overall flavour and smoothness needs a little overhaul (but don’t forget this is just a personal preference and cN vary from batch to batch).True & unbiased topshelf Cali flower reviews.
