Strain Review: UM ZONGO by The World Is Yours

From hearing and seeing great things from the relatively new and upcoming World Is Yours Exotics (who have already collaborated with the likes of Baydestrians and Cannatique) I was thrilled to be able to get my hands on one of their newest drops, that being Um Zongo; a play on the popular childhood exotic fruit drink Um Bongo. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of infused tropical fruits consisting of oranges, grapefruits and grapes with a dash of pineapple and mango. This salivating aroma was complimented by a citrus and pine gassy backend, paying homage to its SFV OG parent. The scent is truly unique, smelling reminiscent of Wazabi but with extra exoticism. The buds were of a soft to medium density, having a noticeable structure of both Zkittles and SFV OG combined. Being a light shade of golden green, with minimal rustic hydroponic hairs, covering a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by the anticipated rush of sweet tropical notes, translating from the smell. Again, consisting of sweet grapes, infused with undertones of orange, grapefruit and faint mango. Upon exhaling this exotic fruity essence transcends into a more dominant citrus and piney OG influenced gas, whilst still retaining its initial sweet fruity notes, both strains complimenting each other effectively. The joint produced ash being a shade of white, to very light silver, alongside a gushing and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, this is a great start to my journey with The World Is Yours Exotics, and as a first run Um Zongo is a truly remarkable Zkittles cross. With SFV OG already being a naturally sweet OG, and then crossed with Zkittles, this was always going to be special.
