Strain Review: Club 41 by Jungle Boys

From thoroughly enjoying Jungleboys Fujiwhara (being a back cross of Animal Tsunami), as well as Gelato 41 being one of my all time favourite strains, I was excited to be able to see how this combination of both strains fared. With it Boasting a high 40.92% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I received a creamy earthiness with musky, spicy and Skunk traits, alongside a pungent Gelato infusion of chemicals, hazelnut and fuel complemented by a very subdued essence of floral grapes. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of medium green with sporadic hues of purple, alongside rustic pistils, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a spicy earthiness accompanied by pungent traits of chemicals, fuel and hazelnut, exhibiting its Gelato 41 lineage. Through combustion sweet floral undertones of grapes and cream begin to develop, complemented by undertones of pine and wood. The taste of this mildly sweet spicy earthiness is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside a dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, although I prefer Club 41’s parent genetics individually, I found them both to complement each other effectively, delivering an enjoyable array of mildly sweet, spicy and earthy notes, with it resulting in a fairly pleasant taste and ticking most boxes.
With a little further dialling in Club 41 will remain a great Gelato based staple to the Jungleboy’s lineup.
