Not having had Jungleboy’s Florida Cake for many years now, I was interested to see how this recent release fared. Boasting a modest 37.54% total sum of cannabinoids.
Upon opening I instantly received a unique refreshing floral scent, with sandalwood, pine and chemicals infused with cream, mints and cake. The buds were of a medium density, having a typical Kush and Jungleboy’s structure. They were a shade of light green, alongside messy light rustic pistils, and absolutely caked in glistening trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering an floral, piney, creamy and minty gas, alongside mildly sweet notes of cake infused with earthy undertones.
The taste of this fairly refreshing gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside a partial resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I ultimately found Florida Cake to deliver a well balanced infusion of Triangle Kush against Wedding Cake’s minty cake sweetness, exhibiting its lineage well. Although FC’s flavour may be overshadowed by many other exciting profiles currently in circulation, it still manages to smoke pleasantly well, ticking most boxes, and with some further dialling in required, will make a great choice for enthusiasts of Kush dominant strains.
