Not having had Jungleboy’s rendition of this classic cross of strains before, I was interested in seeing their take on it. With it boasting a very high 42.31% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I instantly received a familiar scent of Biscotti, delivering smoky and musky notes infused with fuel, biscuits and almonds, alongside a pungent, earthy Gelato influenced gas.
This distinctive aroma was complemented by partially sweet and floral notes exhibiting its Sunset Sherbet lineage. The buds were of a medium density, having a typical Biscotti and OG structure. They were a shade of medium green with hues of purple, alongside minimal rustic pistils and absolutely covered in trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a Biscotti dominant gas with earthy traits infused with fuel, hazelnuts, chemicals and almonds. Light floral Sherbet notes began to develop through combustion complementing the Biscotti’s gas effectively.
The taste of this mildly sherbet earthy Gelato gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I overall found Jelly Donut to deliver an enjoyable and impressive infusion of both Biscotti and Sunset Sherbet, exhibiting its lineage traits well. It smoked clean, ticking most boxes and will remain a great classic staple of Jungleboy’s lineup.
