With this being a collaboration between the infamous cultivators Wizard Trees and Burning Rope Farms, I was excited to see how this duo of both well known strains fared. Upon opening I instantly received a pungent aroma displaying strong notes of fuel and chemicals alongside musky and floral sherbet traits, complemented by a subtle cherry and guava sweetness. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure.

They were a shade of light green with sporadic hues of purple, harbouring attractive pink and violet guts, barely visible behind an almost white thick layer of shining trichomes alongside minimal messy rustic pistils. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering an RS11 influenced floral Sherbet earthiness with notable creamy, chemical and pine OG traits, infused with sweet notes, consisting of primarily guava and cherries with subdued menthol undertones. The taste of this gassy sweet sherbet was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.

The joint produced ash being a shade of light to medium grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, despite producing a darker shade of ash than expected, I overall found Wizard Fuel to smoke fairly well, ticking most boxes. Although nothing too exciting, it delivered its lineage effectively, exhibiting dominant floral sherbet traits of RS11 alongside gentle notes of Rope Fuel’s OG gassiness. With a little further more dialling in required, WF will remain a distinctive combination of both brands.
