Never having had any flowers from Raree Xotics before and exhibiting an exciting cross of two popular strains I was excited to see how their newly released Yuzu Zhushimi fared. and retailing with some of the best branding and artwork designs I have come across, after its even more visually captivating Dragonfruit Z.

Upon opening I instantly received a unique musky and equally exotic aroma, primarily displaying sweet and sour, tangy notes of subdued grapefruit, sour lemon and cherries against a floral earthy gas with hints of menthol, strawberries and cream. Smelling reminiscent of a theoretical Zowah with added sweet, creamy, menthol and sour traits.

The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light to medium green, with messy rustic pistils and absolutely drenched in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by a unique creamy, citrusy and refreshing floral gas with traits of menthol, haze and fuel, infused with a syrupy sweet candy consisting of cherries and strawberries alongside sour and tangy notes of lemon with a drop of grapefruit. Leaving faint remnants of the Pitaya fruit.

The taste of this floral sweet tangy gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I found Yuzu Zhushimi to smell and taste like no other strain seen before, with traits of both Blue Zushi and Lemon Peel complementing each other effectively, introducing a unique and very enjoyable flavour profile. With minimal dialling in required, YZ will easily remain a distinctive staple of both Rare Xotics and the markets ever expanding lineup.
