Having only ever had Z Animal from Dank Syndicate before, I was feeling pretty neutral in seeing how their rendition of Zoap fared. Upon opening I instantly received both a familiar and enticing scent of Zoap. Displaying sweet and floral notes of guava, cherries and faint berries, alongside a pungent musky, creamy and earthy deep centred Sherbet gas, with traits of Cookies, chemicals, fuel and detergent. The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure.

They were a shade of medium green with attractive hues of purple, with captivating pink and violet guts, alongside rustic pistils and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a pungent floral sherbet gas, with soapy and chemical traits complemented by a lightly sweetened infusion of guava, cherries and creamy strawberries infused with fuel.

The taste of this mildly sweet pungent gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of almost white to very light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, I was overall left pleasantly satisfied with how Dank Syndicate’s rendition of Zoap fared. Although it is not the best Zoap I have tried, it managed to deliver enjoyably sweeter notes than some other brands fail to deliver, resulting in a pleasant mildly sweet floral Sherbet gas. It ticked most boxes and with some further dialling in required, Zoap will remain a strong staple of DS’s lineup.
