Vape Review: 710 FLIP Kit w/ VERB 510 Battery by RYOT
I think most people have gone through a zippo phase. Where they try to learn the lighter tricks, enjoy the physical push and pull. The lighter form factor is absolutely the origin of fidget spinners in my mind. Anyways, RYOT’s Verb 510 battery for 710… hits that nostalgia point hard. Functionality is all there for most carts and when it comes to the 710 atomizer that comes in the kit, given the level of functionality, it’s a race to find the right amount of time to hold the heating element on in comparison with the material you’re vaporizing.
RYOT needs a lot more RnD before they’re able to put out a vaporizer that can perform at the level that rosin heads expect. This isn’t that device. This is squarely a cool vape for carts, and an old and reliable way of consuming certain honey like oils.
Put another way, this may have been my favorite device if this were exactly 10 years ago, but considering that it isn’t – It’s since sat as a bulky cart battery which frankly, everyone has many of. Doesn’t mean this isn’t one of the cooler 510 batteries, just means the 710 kit is 71% not there. It’s all too obvious when hardware companies don’t actually do proper amounts of RnD.
I wish I could change the voltage, to really dial in the hit that I want with the concentrate – or with different types of concentrate. The voltage meant for a certain type of heating element by a certain brand, you won’t get the right performance.
There are voltage controlling cartridges that have chips to change the electricity provided by the vape battery, and just an aside but that might need to be in the future that guarantees nice vape hits for everyone no matter what kind of battery they have.
