Dutch Treat Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

I got this one from the curing room when it was still untrimmed. I promised @woodwideryan to let it finish for a few weeks before reviewing it and it was oh so worth it. The smell was more fruity before it finished curing. That fruit was rotting. Very Magnolia flower-esque. The sharp almost-a-familiar-fruit smell hits me in the feels every time. Including when I first smelled this at Wood Wide Farms. I’ve only smelled it a few times before and it isn’t something that’s Dutch treat’s complex aroma started off with a bang for me with half the cat piss cultivar smell, next round was the rotten eggs additive they add to help detect gas leaks. The smoke had a very sharp floral taste. It was Gas as the other side of that coin. Floral fuel mmm, mmm, lit. The high on this is very one track. What a great treat and a useful high. Smoke this before doing the dishes or while watching a long movie – like The Irishman long. The longevity of the high and the flavor can’t be understated. Not a munchie effect, more of a zoning in effect so you really are just going to extra enjoy whatever you ingest next – including more Dutch Treat. Smoking this Dutch Treat brought me closer to the dream of living on The Amstel in a houseboat. Suggested pairing: Turkish delight, mochi, moon cake – any sweet with a texture you can dwell on.
