Short Review: Absolutely amazing cultivar from GANS Detroit! Looks, smell, flavor, high is all just top notch fire! This is a must buy!

LOOKS
This flower looks INSANE! Never seen anything like this in person. It’s wild looking! Dark purple base, with tons of fuzzy orange little hairs everywhere, giving the most amazing contrast I’ve ever seen on a bud. Then here and there you see some little flashes of lime green, and the entire nug is coated in frosty trichomes. Best looking flower I’ve ever seen in person.

SMELL
Had a somewhat subtle smell straight out of the bag I had. Has some earthy/chocolate/cookie and then some hints of kush/diesel/gas on the backend. After putting it in my mason jars I put all my flower in, I popped in a 62% Boveda pack and a few weeks later the smell is stronger for sure. It was maybe a 2 out of 5 in strength of smell, now it’s about a 3.5-4/5. So noticeable difference. And it’s just much deeper and richer smelling now. I absolutely love the smell of this. I’m not the best person to give some eloquent descriptions of the smell. But it has a certain something, that you can’t quite put your finger on, that makes this very alluring and makes my mouth water for sure. The only reason I can’t give this a 5, is because it’s not strong enough. With a smell this good, I really wish I could get a bag of this straight from the breeder to get that most DANKEST of Dank smells that this flower has. But don’t worry, the flavor will take you all the way!

FLAVOR
The flavor transfer is so good on this one! It tastes exactly like it smells! Just this rich, deep earthy, chocolate, cookie, hint of kush/diesel smell that really coats your mouth. Very creamy and smooth as well. I’ve vaped this out of my Solo II, Crafty+ and it’s amazing. But even more amazing is out of a King Palm Rollie! I almost never smoke anymore, but recently tried this out of a Rollie a few weeks ago and it was outrageously good for a joint/blunt. Flavors came through and it was intoxicating. Nice creamy smooth smoke and white ash! I actually think I might like it more out of a joint then my vapes, which makes no sense, haha. But there ya go. I’m not usually one to care too much about the flavor. I do enjoy a really great smelling/flavored flower, but it’s not something that I choose cultivars from. I’m much more concerned about the High and how the flower makes you feel. Most cannabis tastes about the same and all more or less is like skunky generic weed to me. Only a few cultivars here and there really stick out with a great flavor for me. And this is definitely one I will remember.

HIGH
The high on this is just next level and straight fire! This is Michigan cannabis at it’s best and can’t believe it didn’t win at the Zalympix, 2023 event. The other cultivars that won must be insanely good to beat this out, as this is outrageously good flower from GANS Detroit. I’m someone that really looks for a specific type of high with most of my flower choices. I’m not really concerned whether it’s labeled Sativa, Hybrid or Indica as most of the time, that doesn’t help or ring true. I look for flower that really elevates my mood, gives good to incredible euphoria, makes me feel “good”, like everything is right with the world. Makes my brain have fun outrageous connections that normally don’t occur (very much like a low grade version of taking psychedelics), makes me feel happy, makes me laugh, and just overall makes things better. Life is hard. Humans can be the worst. And this strain makes me forget all of that BS of life. It’s perfect.
It does everything I want a strong Hybrid strain to do, but definitely more on the relaxing/chill side of the spectrum. But, having said that, it can still give you what you want. I try all strains at least 3-4 times before I make up mind, and this one has hit pretty much the same every time, but always with subtle little nuances that were so great. It’s really a strain that gives you the best of both worlds, being an amazing hybrid, but does lean a bit more towards the relaxing Indica side of a hybrid.
Starts out with that smile and Irie feeling that lets you know it’s working and going to be a great ride. But that doesn’t even kick in until near the end of vaping or smoking it. So it’s not a instant activation type high, but I also wouldn’t call it a creeper. But then about 5-15 mins after that is when the real high kicks in and it is strong boyardee. I usually vape, but tried this out of a King Palm Rollie a few weeks ago and daaaaaaaamn boyeee, was I stoned. Feelin like the Beastie Boys stumblin out of an upper level apartment in the “You Gotta Fight For Your Right to Party/Make Some Noise” video, haha. My girl and I went over for a late evening BBQ to our good friends, delicious burgers, amazing joosey sour fruited beers, sun going down and then started puffin on this shizz. I was zoned the f*ck out and in a complete state of bliss on my buddies porch in heaven. I love being high like this out in public or at a buddies place. You feel so high, but in control, can converse with others and just feel like an absolute chill boss. But it’s not so strong that it would knock you out or make you green out (unless you’re a beginner or someone that doesn’t have much experience with really strong strains). Lots of euphoria in the mind and body. Really relaxes your thoughts and your body at the same time. It can also give you a more talkative, upbeat, happy, laughing, “want to get up and do something” type of a high in the first few hours as well. It’s kind of a Swiss Army knife of highs, it’s very cool. Whatever you want out of it, it’s going to give it to you. If you just wanna chill and relax, you got it. And if you wanna have a good time, get up and do stuff, it’ll give you that as well. But all with an undertone of relaxation, chill and “everything is right with the world” type feeling. Really good at helping out with stress, anxiety, anger, depression, and just helping you forget all the BS of life. It’s a great mood lifter, but in a relaxed way.
The high lasts a really long time on this one. The peak is like 1-2 hrs (for me, most flower only peaks for like 15-30 mins anymore) Then it has a phase II where you’re still fairly high, but not like the peak, and this is where it gives you that happy, fun loving, relaxed but totally in control feeling. This lasts 1-3 more hrs! And even after that, you’ll get another 1-3 hrs of come down that is so nice. This is a great strain for an early evening with friends, maybe going out for a bit for some beers/drinks then coming back to chill at someone’s pad with a nice charcuterie board, chill music and more drinks by the fire. It lasts so long, that you really want to use this a bit earlier, so you have time to really experience every level it has to offer. It’s unreal. And then at the end of the night, you’ll fall asleep like a baby. But it’s not a couch lock or sedative type high. At least not for me. It’s absolutely amazing and gives me everything I want out of a Hybrid or Indica leaning hybrid. This sh*t right here… this is IT!
Medical uses would be: calming, stress relief, relaxing, mood elevation, good for aches and pains, anxiety (but only for experienced or regular users), depression and helps with hunger (will give you some medium munchies).
The intensity of the high is somewhere around a 4-4.5 out of 5. Has never made me feel like I was going to green out if i had too much. But… you can get really high on this. Or if you vape it on a lower setting around 350*, it will give you all the effects listed above, but with a more gentle high that isn’t as strong and stoney. This is NOT for beginners or people less experienced with really strong strains. Be careful!

WOULD I BUY AGAIN
Would DEFINITELY buy this again and again and again! It’s not a stretch to say this is one of the best cultivars I’ve ever had in Michigan, as well as my entire life. It’s the absolute Tits! GANS knocked this one out of the park and will buy this anytime I see it. Great job guys.
OVERALL
This is a special flower and a top tier grow! This is the type of Bud you dream about and hope you’ll get every time you try something new. But usually only comes around maybe 1-3 times a year! This IS Top Shelf cannabis at it’s best! Fantastic slightly Indica leaning hybrid, but one that has a lot of very powerful Sativa like effects as well. It’s very strong, but very chill and has such a great look, smell, flavor. The smell and flavor alone haunt my dreams! It’s that good. One of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you GANS Detroit
