Short Review: Pretty generic high with a price tag that is outrageous for how avg this is
Picked this up at Rush Cannabis in Saline, MI mid April, 2023. Harvest date: 1/09/23. Testing date: 2/09/23, tested by: SC labs Â
LOOKS
This flower looks good. They are very tight, dense smaller sized nugs. All sorts of light green, dark green orange and even some black. Not super frosty and is not very sticky to the touch. But looks pretty good.

SMELL
Had a somewhat subtle smell straight out of the bag I had. Not very strong which was disappointing. Definitely an interesting Lemon smell with some spice or pepper. And a tiny bit of funk. This flower was pretty dry when I got it out of the bag and put it in one of my small glass mason jars with a 62% Boveda pack to try and bring back some of the smell. It’s a pretty good smell, but nothing amazing or unique or worth $55 an 1/8th. Good, but disappointed, which kind of sets the mood for the rest of the review.

FLAVOR
The flavor is pretty much like the smell but with the added minty flavor. In fact, it has a very strong Minty/Menthol type effect in your mouth. I vaped this as I do all flower 3 times or more with my Crafty+ on temp setting 1. Which I believe is 356*. The Lemon flavor is a bit different than the smell. It’s more spicey/pepper and a ton of mint. And it’s kind of harsh after the first few draws. Made me cough more than a few times in the middle and end of vaping. And looses it’s Lemon traits pretty quickly. Once again, pretty good for the first 3-5 draws, then it starts to lose it’s flavor pretty quick and get harsh on the lungs, lose it’s flavor and makes you cough. Disappointed here as well.

HIGH
The high on this is the biggest let down of all. I went out on a limb here buying an 1/8th of flower for $55. In this day and age, that’s insane pricing. So I was expecting THE BEST of THE BEST. And it’s not even close. In fact, the first two times I tried it, it was a huge let down. It had a super generic low grade high that just made me sort of forgetful, foggy minded and relaxed. That’s about it. It had very little feelings of euphoria, happiness or mood enhancement. Not much uplifting feelings and just was a huge bummer. I think for maybe 15-30 mins in the beginning, it had a more Sativa type high, but nothing to write about. And then after that it just kept getting more and more groggy and sleepy feeling. And once again, not in a good way.
The second time was even worse and had me thinking something was wrong with this stuff. So I gave it one more try and finally it was just Ok, haha. I was cooking and it made me a bit happier, a bit more energetic, uplifted my mood a bit, and had me dancing around a bit while I made my lunches for the week. But still, nothing special or even good. It’s a very low grade high, feels like I only took a few draws or something. And it just kind of relaxes you and gives you a mild good feeling. Was somewhat uplifted, somewhat happy and talkative. Not much else.
This third time using it, was definitely better than the first few times, but that’s not saying much as the first few times had me thinking I was just going to toss it in the trash. It was slightly happier and more energetic, yet clear minded for the first 30-60 mins. But after that, it once again, just goes into this kind of generic boring high that makes you kind of absent minded, groggy feeling, foggy brained and laughing a bit at stupid things that aren’t really funny. It’s not a good high and was still disappointed. Just not as bad as the first 2 times.Â
Medical uses would be: mild calming, mild stress relief and mild relaxation. Will give you some medium munchies.
The intensity of the high is somewhere around a 2.5-3 out of 5. It’s a low grade high and very mild. Can easily have conversations with others and doesn’t make me “feel” high.

WOULD I BUY AGAIN
Would DEFINITELY not buy this again. Stupid expensive, massive amounts of hype and then all I got was a pretty good smell. Nothing else. The high is one of the most generic I’ve ever had and I really don’t know if I’ll even give it a fourth try. I might just gift it to a buddy. It’s a huge let down and will not be buying any more flower from Fear of Boof, Hi-Tech or Super Dope. This stuff was super generic and super over priced.
OVERALL
This was a generic low grade high with a pretty good smell and that’s about it. I expect more from my flower, but maybe this is for you. If you like super low key, lazy, relaxed strains that don’t give you much of a high, then you might like this. But I thought it was weak. I have a hard time believing that this is as good as everyone says it is and feel majorly duped and like I wasted my money. Not sure if Gelonade is like this, or if I just got some bum bag. But I won’t be trying any Gelonade strains or Super Dope x Fear of Boof flower ever again after this major let down.Â
