Not having had any flowers from Self Funded Canna for a long time, I was excited to see how their rendition of Zkittlez fared. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an exotic Zkittlez aroma, displaying strong notes of grapefruit and cream, alongside sweet traits of cherries, citrus and menthol. The buds were of a medium density and had a typical Zkittlez messy structure. They were a shade of medium green alongside thick messy rustic pistils and harbouring a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering a tasty Zkittlez profile with zesty notes of grapefruit alongside a creamy earthiness, complemented by syrupy candy and cherry undertones, with hints of lime.
The taste of this exotic creamy Zkittlez was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I overall found SF Canna’s rendition of Zkittlez to deliver an expected exotic profile, alongside enjoyable syrupy candy undertones. It smoked well, ticking most boxes and with a little further dialling in, can only be further improved and remain a classic staple of SF Canna’s lineup.
