FAQ

Should I use cannabis with intent?

Something that’s always intrigued me, is the practice of mindfulness, and applying it to the use of cannabis. When you use cannabis with a specific intent, there are many people who believe that you are not only maximizing your usage, but that you can also elevate your cannabis experience.

Why you should use cannabis with intent

Ask yourself this: when was the last time you used cannabis just to listen to music? How about just to eat? Often times, we get so caught up in the happenings of our daily lives, and cannabis just gets swept along for the ride. These are a few simple steps you can take during your next session, in order to start practicing mindful use

3 ways to smoke cannabis with intent

1. Set your intent. Why are you smoking today? Is it for pain relief? For inspiration? By putting yourself in this frame of mind, you are taking control of the outcome of your high! 2. Slow down. Don’t feel the need to burn through an entire joint in one setting. Taking breaks in between puffs helps the cannabis work at a steady pace as it spreads throughout your body. By doing this, you not only are getting the plant do its job, you’re also allowing yourself to find the perfect dosage. 3. Relax. The ancient practice of consuming psychedelic mushrooms, has taught many shamans that by relaxing before a session, it allows the body and mind to have a better experience. The same can be said for cannabis. You can avoid unpleasant results, by going into your session without negative thoughts about the outcome of your high. I use this method myself, and I highly recommend trying it out! Did you find this post interesting? Do you have more questions? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
