Masonic’s on Fairfax to host 3rd Free Seed Day on April 15th, 2023

Masonic’s on Fairfax will play host to the third annual Free Seed Day (FSD) on April 15th, 2023. Masonic’s on Fairfax can be found – you guessed it – on Fairfax Ave. Masonic announced on Instagram:

“APRIL 15th 2023 is the 3rd annual @freeseedday and 3 year anniversary of @masoniconfairfax being open. Make sure you’re in LA for the festivities.”

History of FSD

According to Visit Hollyweed’s Dan Wilson, The first Free Seed Day happened in September of 2021. The second Free Seed Day occurred on April 15th, 2022 and featured over 1000 different seed sources. Over 700 attendees gathered at Masonic’s on Fairfax to receive seeds and celebrate the anniversary and the historic day.

How to give free seeds to FSD

Masonic announced that now is the time to reach out if you’d like your seeds to be included in 2023’s Free Seed Day. Reach out in his DMs. Masonic announced on Free Seed Day’s instagram account:

“Breeders, seedmakers, etc. DM me if you want to send seeds for FSD.”

Now that the legal status of shipping exotic bird seed across state lines has been proven out, Free Seed Day is just going to keep getting bigger year after year.
