👀: This jar of rosin had that classic Chris thumbprint style and was cold cure on cold cure. The outer layer was the Wild Cherry which had an eye catching nice pale white color, while the inside Jordan 23 had a deeper yellowish tan tone. They both had almost identical consistencies, with a kind of a dry but still wet texture that could’ve been whipped, but I chose to leave it as is. I would say it was a bit more on the dry side than usual though.
The jar design was dope, as always. Chris really kills it on the packaging. This one had a wild top sticker showing four people standing in front of a dark Disney like castle, with Chris himself on the far left which was a cool touch. The bottom label had the usual jar info, plus a photo of a bunch of wet cherries. 8.9/10
👃: The smell on this one was really interesting, super loud right when you open the jar. It hits you with a deep, rich tropical fruity sweetness and a citrusy note that almost leans pineapple but isn’t. There’s also that signature lingering smell I call the “Chris smell” hard to describe but definitely present here. Honestly, I think the nose on this one is fire. Most people I passed the jar to for a dab had that “wow” look on their face when they smelled it, and I did too. It’s loud and just a really nice smell overall. 9.6/10
👅: The taste on this jar was really nice and like I do most thumbprints I try them in the three was the outside the inside and then both. The inside Jordan 23 had a nice bit of complexity. It started with sweet, fruity notes that took a slight turn, finishing with a light gassy touch. That finish wasn’t really my thing, but I can see how others might enjoy it.
The Wild Cherry outside of the jar was the real star of the show for me though I might be a little biased since it fits right into my preferred terp profiles. It had this rich, mouth-coating cherry fruity flavor that was deep, sweet, and mouth coating. At times, it even reminded me of pineapple, which added a nice twist. Then when I tried both I get the sweet fruit notes of the wild cherry coming out with a slight bit of gas on the back end which wasn’t bad at all but if I were to pick only one I’d definitely want this jar to be all Wild Cherry! 9.2/10
Overall: This was a great jar from Chris, definitely one of my favorites of the year so far. The look, smell, and taste were all spot on. The only minor downside was that it leaned a bit drier than usual, but that would have easily been fixed with a quick whip, which I didn’t do. What really stood out to me was how smooth the dab was, no background noise at all. The color on the Wild Cherry was super appealing, and the flavor was incredibly refreshing. The high wasn’t overly potent, but it still packed a nice punch. In my opinion, it’s a perfect daytime dab since it won’t completely knock you out.
The main reason I grabbed this jar was because I had one from Chris about a year ago that featured Wild Cherry CC paired with Guapa Pie 2 Jam, and I really liked that one. So I figured, why not run it back with the Jordan 23 and it did not disappoint.
Shoutout to Chris he killed it with this jar. Not much bad I can say about it. It checked all the boxes, and honestly, the only real bad thing I can say is I regret not grabbing another one. 😂🤷♂️
