CBD Review: Citrus Essence Strainz 300 Full Spectrum Tincture
Check out this product review of the Citrus Essence Strainz CBD 300™ Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Tincture to see if it’s tasty and effective. Orange Essence was the last Strainz flavor that I tried and I think I may have inadvertently saved the best for last.
Strainz was founded in 2013 by Chris and Hugh Hempel for an honorable cause. Since 2013, Strainz has become one of the leaders in the cannabis industry and their products are found in dispensary shelves as well as online. CBD tinctures made with full spectrum hemp extract may seem like they’re available from brands at every corner, but there really are only a few brands you should consider when you get serious – and Strainz is definitely one of them.

Citrus Essence Strainz CBD 300 Full Spectrum Tincture Review
I think one of the reasons that Strainz’s CBD 300 Full Spectrum Tincture feels so good to me is the fact that it doesn’t have 0% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Instead, there are legal amounts of THC in Strainz’s CBD products that doesn’t get you high, but does work with cannabinol (CBN), cannabigerol (CBG), and of course cannabidiol (CBD) on your endocannabinoid system in what is known as the entourage effect. Cannabis is meant to be consumed as naturally as possible – with the caveat that consumption is as easy as possible for the patient. Applying tinctures sublingually is about as easy as it gets and the more cannabinoids you can deliver at once when doing so – the better. Taste: The first thing I noticed about the taste of this oil was that it didn’t hit right away, it kind of grew as I held the tincture under my tongue. Many lemon flavored CBD tinctures that I’ve tried in the past start off with a quick one to punch to the nose and tastebuds that doesn’t go away even after swallowing. With the Strainz Citrus Essence, that one two punch is regulated to a firm reminder of a light citrus taste that isn’t harsh nor sour. It isn’t a lemon peel, it’s not a grapefruit peel but rather some combination of the sweeter citrus fruits. Think Pomelo and those Cuties before you think Lemon when it comes to Strainz’s Citrus Essence. Feel: Exactly as I did in my reviews of other Strainz CBD 300 tincture flavors, I used a whole dropper which is a little more than 1.0mL to give me my standard recommended dosage of around 10mg CBD. At this level, I noticed the effects within thirty minutes and sat down to write notes for this review. It’s easy to recognize the feeling of quality CBD, and while it’s hard to put a finger or name to the exact feeling, you’ll know it when you feel it. There’s a much more elusive distinct feeling of CBD products that don’t use full spectrum hemp – this is not elusive. I felt even – not leaning to one side or another and remarkably clear headed – which lead to some pretty well handwritten notes if I do say so myself. Summary: $34.95 may seem high but it is a good price for something that tastes this good. If you feel that 300mg CBD is too weak for your needs, this Citrus Essence Strainz tincture is also available in 750mg. I’m going to go as far as to recommend that those that need anything stronger to buy the stronger concentrations of Strainz CBD tinctures unflavored and mix it with the Citrus Essence so you can have access to this taste. I’d recommend this Citrus Essence flavored CBD tincture to any CBD beginner – even if they’re not yet sure what flavor they like or whether an unflavored one may be better for them. This is a perfect introduction to the CBD wellness movement and really even experienced CBD users can take this to just appreciate the taste.
