Code Red Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Visually, the Code Red is incredible. The coloration is an enthralling mix of dark violet, silver, and ginger. There’s some negligible green leafage that’s been trimmed off, but, overall, each bud is an exotic purple hue all the way to the core. The trichomes consist of long, serpentine stalks with immense, intact heads that congregate in large swaths, completely coating every surface they touch 😍 The fragrance that wafts out of a jar of Code Red is flat out tantalizing. It has a fruity, almost succulent, cherry and strawberry aroma with a subtle undercurrent of brown sugar, cinnamon, cream, and allspice. The overall profile has this in-depth, teasingly sweet and piquant characteristic that bewitches the senses. Breaking the flower down unleashes more fruity fragrances that are reminiscent of canned cherries and fruit punch 🍒 The taste on Code Red is phenomenal. The foremost flavor is a blend of cherry, mixed berries, and fig, all splashed with a hefty dose of sugar and cream. The sweetness of the cultivar heightens as the flower burns, becoming increasingly zesty and lightly singeing the nostrils with palpable sugary sharpness. The profile reminds me of a boiling cherry compote that’s been left to simmer on the stove until it is roiling with syrupy, candied fruit 🤤 The effect on Code Red is superb. Its a potent, long-lasting high that immediately smacks the consumer with a velvety, vice-grip-like headband feeling and a soothing heaviness across the shoulders and back.
