Phoenix Rising Farm First Class Funk Cannabis Cultivar (“Strain”) Review
Appearance: Dense structure, varying shades of green and a fantastically accurate trim are some of the first things you’ll notice. The trichome coverage and integrity are both excellent. Bud maturity, cure and storage integrity are also mint 👌
Aroma: Intensity is great and there’s a lot coming out of the jar. Garlic, mushroom, lemon sorbet, pine solvent and a sour gas note are prolific. Accents of curry, soil and rose petal add balance as well as complexity. Earth/Fruit/Fuel/Floral is the profile.
Flavor: The dry hit shows lemon, garlic and menthol with authority. Early 💨 flavors include rubber, garlic and black pepper. Lemon comes in soon after, shifting to lemon biscuit before the midpoint. The aftertaste is very true to the Gelato lineage. It takes a savory direction in the later stages. Balsa, cedar and Italian seasoning highlight a clean, smooth finish.
Experience: The highest marks came in the final and, arguably, most important category. Onset is lightning fast and the intensity is next level. Head-to-toe, she’s thick & assertive. Our typical experience with this cultivar is a unique combination of mood lifting, social lubrication and a full body melt. It’s great for hanging out, as long as there’s a couch to sit on 😉 The duration of both primary and secondary effects is very sustained. This is incredibly high quality 🌺
