Gastro Pop has outstanding bag appeal. The buds are vaguely triangular with smaller, rounded nodules that protrude out in various spots. Gorgeous green leafage spans the exterior of each nug with touches of dark purple and blue coloration on the nodes themselves. Faded tangerine pistils appear as singular strands within the outer surface, while a generous coating of trichomes makes each bud look like it’s encrusted in raw sugar 😍
The nose on Gastro Pop is incredible. Layers of grape, guava, apple, and blueberry form an anesthetizing aromatic forward followed by a sharp but fleeting chemical tang on the backend. Breaking the flower down increases the lusciousness of the fruity side of the fragrance and creates a keen gassiness that seizes the senses on each sniff. Opening a fresh jar releases smells comparable to cracking open a can of freezer burnt frozen fruit concentrate 🤤
The Gastro Pop has exquisite flavor. The taste is a succulent selection of soured fruit rind, blueberry and white grape, with a natural sweetness to each hit that mimics actual fruit. A light herbal gassiness simmers in the background early in the burn, evolving and growing ever sharper as the flower resinates. The overall flavor is vivid, juicy, and lip smackingly delicious all the way to the last hit 👅
Gastro Pop has a prominent effect on it. The high is cerebrally spacey and physiologically relaxing in a way that feels substantial.
