The visual appeal on Icicles is downright gorgeous. This batch consists of medium-sized, lime green buds with barbed purple leafage. The leafage is more silver than purple from an array of scintillating trichomes that encompasses each piece of foliage. The trichome coverage is profuse with long, spindly stalks and prodigious, intact resin glands. A lattice of fiery orange pistils web their way across the surface of each nug, adding contrast to the opulent appearance 😍
The aroma that radiates from a container of Icicles is just phenomenal. A sweet, candied scent invigorates the senses before inundating them with a tsunami of smooth, creamy vanilla. Following the delicate dessert forward is a full-throttle burning fuel fragrance that yanks at the nose hairs. The flower has notes of pine that add a mild peppermint-like freshness to the scent, but breaking buds down just elevates the aroma into an amalgamation of candied kerosene and burning rubber. It’s a sweet and tantalizingly piquant presentation 🤤
The taste of Icicles is ambrosial and decadent. It has a velvety cream flavoring with light doughiness and a decisively spiced diesel backend. The sweetness, yeastiness, and gassiness of the presentation are amplified as the joint burns down and it marinates in its own resination. It leaves a sweetened, delectable mouth taste complete with a zesty tingle on the tongue and a spiced fuel flavor on the lips. The flower has notes of pine and nuttiness, but the overall profile reminds me of a sugar cone splashed with gasoline 🍦
The effect on Icicles is exquisite. It starts out with a soft, floaty head high that’s cognitively sharp. As the full effect creeps up, a heavier headband feeling settles in along with a feeling of relaxation in neck muscles and heaviness across the body. The flower is sticky and produces a minimal amount of large-grained kief when ground. It burns exquisitely all the way down to the last hit 😶🌫️
