Lima Loca Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Appeal: 95.75/100 Large Chunky Tall Stretching Colas of Deep purple & Dark blue, with lime-greens, light purple/magenta inner streaks, covered in thick clusters of resinous amber/white/gold trichome heads & thick patches fiery Cheeto orange pistils of medium-long length. The dense colas lean to the properly dried side but pull apart soft & squishy revealing moist inners, with resinous Inner trichomes that are clustered & well intact. Aroma: 96/100 Strong Frosty candy lemon, creamy lemon, with a heavy side dose of juicy limeade-citrus, a fruity grape-cherry-lime Rainbow candy mixes with a creamy lavender floral note that sits next to a runtz-like earthy swampy musk and an undertone of pungent freezer burnt rubber/shoe leather fuel. A lightly zesty fruity Chile mango tropical citrus Hides a hint of an orange creamsicle deep fried cream puff haze. Complex but Lemon-Lime-Z dominate. Herbal cookie undertone. Smoke: 95/100 Ash: 94.5/100 Drip: 94/100 Flavor: 96.5/100 FlavRetention: 95/100 Ash is mostly white & grey with rare pepper, offering full combustion. The mouth is coated in terps. The inhale is clean & smooth. The exhale is Gassy, Creamy, & flavorful. Smokes mostly clean to the roach. Nice Heavy thick smoke with Zero to Minimal bite, Terp ring fluctuated each session, some with a monstrous drip, some with a solid sweaty greasy resin ring. Flavor matched aroma, lemon lime sprite flavored Zkittles, creamy, citrusy and sweet. The Orange creamsicle is more present in taste than aroma, with its deep fried cream puff haze in full effect. The lime, & Chile-Mango tropical fruitiness blends with the rainbow candy fuel nicely, the lemon cream & the lavender-grape-floral cream also pair together. The earthy musk & herbal cookie merge all the flavors together. A calming relaxing entourage effect also hits the body and mind and stays for the duration after the energy settles down. Focused, sharp, & social but has a calm, toasty, & Stoney base. 2.75hr strong effect duration. Overall: 95.75/100 part 1 Relentless Melts has been getting a ton of attention in the high end cannabis underground, including a feature in @hightimesmagazine small batch article; making me very pleased & thankful to have been given the opportunity to review this cultivar. The word on the web was their strong points are flavor & smoke cleanliness, & being that its soil grown, hand watered and never sprayed I had really high expectations all around. The appeal is nice, love the deep purples & magentas that are hidden by the heavy trich clusters. The terps are lovely, Im very picky with my lemon terps and usually avoid them (unless paired with terpinolene) but this was actually enticing & pleasing with the Zkittlez-Limeade-papaya-runtz flavors balancing the lemon. The burn was great, not quite as perfect as Vida Loca pheno 2 but was still really clean on the burn & smoke. The flavor was impressive. The effects are nice, but the lemon terps supply a little too much of a energy rush in the beginning, bordering the line of anxiety, but this quickly is subdued by the relaxing entourage and toasty buzz.
