Aroma~
Shonuff has a very unique sweet aroma that give off notes of tootsie rolls, earthy chocolate, and funky dark fruit. I truly have never smelled something like this, I wish I had a zip of this in a jar to smell. The buds were dense, semi fresh, and when I put it through the flower mill it releases a chocolate smoothie aroma. Overall a 9/10 aroma.
Flavors~
When it comes to the flavor profile, it produced some light chocolate hints but mostly a savory gas flavor that wasn’t bad, but I just wish the aroma exactly transitioned into the taste. No harshness and lung expansion is medium.
Effects~
The effects of Shonuff are relaxing but also versatile. There is a very nice head and body buzz that’s calming. There’s a little pressure behind the eyes with a little bit of a sleepy vibe, but not heavy enough to put me out of being a little productive. It’s not gonna “wow” you on the effects but it definitely gets the job done as it did not disappoint me.
Overall hands-down my favorite part of this strain was the aroma. I’m a huge chocolate lover so when I opened the bag and smelled that chocolate tootsie roll aroma I was in love. To follow up, the flavor and effects were also pretty good, but if I had it my way I would have the effects be a little more sedating and heavy so that it could be like a heavy chocolate flavored smoke. This is my second time trying this brand and I will definitely say it’s better than the Subzero I reviewed from them about a month ago.
Cheers 💨
