Zerdz Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

zerdz by eastwood gardens strain review by pnw_chronic 2Zerdz has attractive bag appeal. Its characterized by sizable, dense, and slightly spherical buds that are vaguely triangular in shape. The nugs themselves are a gorgeous jade hue with blackish-purple and dark green foliage. Smaller patches of tangerine-toned pistil fibers coil together in intertwined tangles. Overall, the buds have a greasy gleam from the way the trichomes glisten in the light 🤩 The nose on Zerdz is exceptional. Breaking open a bag unleashes an explosion of tropical fruit and candy. Citrus, sweet berries, and light notes of lemon and lime coalesce with the sugariness of the cultivar in a way that is almost clean and freshly effervescent in presentation. It’s a scintillating aroma with a tangible candied zing that tickles the nose. The profile has an undercurrent of lightly toasted vanilla and pastry doughiness, as well as some minor notes of petrol gas that absolutely titillate the senses in conjunction with the rest of the presentation 🍬 The Zerdz flavor is just as phenomenal as the smell. It’s a delectable, dessert-centric flavoring that’s sugary sweet down to the last hit. The candied fruit part of the taste is tangy with an ephemeral, borderline chalky quality that sits on the tongue. The flower has a tangible overtone of toasted cinnamon and yeasty vanilla that amplifies the zest of the flavoring the further it burns down, becoming more spiced, caramelized, and gassy. It leaves a burnt caramel and earthy spiced diesel aftertaste ⛽️ The effect on Zerdz is outstanding. It starts off with a relaxing body high along with a strong headband feeling and increased distractibility. The effect evolves into an intoxicating cerebral effect that’s paired with a warm feeling of lightness/numbness that moves through the body. Its a well balanced smoke that burns perfectly and smoothly 😶‍🌫️ All in all, the Zerdz is an impressive cultivar. It has gorgeous bag appeal and an incredibly enjoyable high, but the aroma and flavor is what’s most exhilarating about the presentation for me. With this being just their first batch, I’m really excited to see how Eastwood develops this cultivar 🔥
