Strain Review: Purple Zkittlez by Rosebud Growers
Oh boy. For a sec I thought I lost the pictures I took of this Purple Zkittlez. How fucked would that be? @rosebudgrowers gives me a free sample and I lose the pictures.

That ain’t me, though. I’m a professional. An excited professional, at that. I’m excited because I managed to set up a sponsored review with @rosebudgrowers. They’re one of those farms whose social media game is on point, and they post really good pictures, but you kinda wonder if the bud actually lives up to the photography.
This is their Purple Zkittlez. I don’t smoke a whole lot of Zkittlez, but someone looking for those kinda grapey/berryish might be a little disappointed. The sorta musty mothball smell comes through from standard Zkittlez, but the dark berries and grapes are replaced by sort of a tangerine/orange hard candy mixed with tropical fruit. With how common those berry notes are these days, I’m a lot happier getting those tangerine/fruit punch terps coming through.
When it comes to effect, it’s kind of a Swiss Army Knife. It’s got some of that relaxing euphoria, but it also has a clear enough head space that you’d be good for like a family event or getting through a shift or something. It’s been a general midday hybrid for me, but I also smoked it first thing in the morning when I ran out of sativa without any issues.
I gotta be honest, I was a wee bit skeptical coming into this. It all seemed too good to be true. This is exactly why I think you should give new farms a chance, though. This bud absolutely loved up the pictures, and you can best believe I’m gonna be looking out for more stuff from these guys in the future. If you’re looking for their stuff, the two places I know off the top of my head are @portland_extracts_ and @americannarx__pdx. I wanna say that they’re gonna be working with @oregrownindustries as well, but I’ll let someone correct me on that. I think they’re on you’ll be hearing about more in the very near future.
