King Louie’s Cafe is a striking cream-colored 90u live rosin. The concentrate is an opaque batter with a surface that is both smooth and granulated. In terms of viscosity, it’s slightly adherent and elasticized with a peanut-butter-like consistency. It’s fully workable so dabbing the preferred amount of rosin is a clean and easy process. The rosin has a wet gloss that shines in the light, magnifying the desirable visual 😍
KLC has an astounding nose on it. The profile is mainly reminiscent of ripe green banana and freshly cut cedar wood. The smell has an airy, sweet, and creamy quality to it, but it also has a more subtle undercurrent of spiced earthiness, warm berries, and a rich nutty walnuts. It’s a fresh, authentic, and highly aromatic smell confounds the senses and left me sniffing the jar trying to analyze it all the way down to the last dab 🍌
The flavor on KLC is just as astounding as the smell. It tastes like ripened green bananas mixed with spiced berries and fruit, all seeped in crisp cedar terpenes. The natural woodiness of the cedar combined with subtle notes of spiced earth and nuttiness add a zesty depth and richness to the profile. The presentation here is fairly complex, I found myself trying to nail down the profile and give words to it on every dab. Whatever your assessment, it’s an appetizing and absolutely appealing flavor 🪵
The effect on KLC is prominent. It generates a satisfying feeling in the head and a little bit of cognitive fog and slowed thinking. It creates a minor body weightiness and warmth that seems to grow the more I dabbed. It’s relaxing without too much couch lock. The rosin burns averagely in terms of cleanliness, and it’s an remarkably smooth dab 😶🌫️
Overall, I really enjoyed dabbing through the KLC. It checks the boxes in terms of visual appeal and effect, while providing a profile that is wholly unique, captivating, and, above all, quite appealing.
