Banana Starburst Rosin Review
Appearance: The first thing you notice when you open this jar is that it just glistens with terps. The consistency is a bit on the wetter side, It’s still workable but having a heated dab tool with strains like this one make loading a breeze. The color is on the white side of blonde and it’s just very pretty to look at. These wetter badders are my favorite. I’ve never been disappointed by one yet and this one was no different.
Aroma: The smell on this one is pretty damn wild. To me It’s a mix of caramelized fried bananas, lemon meringue and undertone of mentholated sugar pine. There’s also a candy dimension to this profile that has a distinct taffy essence in there. It’s a really unique flavor combo that just works in every way for me.
Taste: This translates really well from the smell. Candied bananas up front with a lemony pine OG essence coming in behind it. I do actually taste that candied taffy in there as well! Prettt well rounded profile. Because it has OG in the cross it’s pretty expansive but not a lung buster by any means. It still has a smoothness to it despite the OG expansion. One of the things I liked the most about this one is that the flavor actually stick to your palate a bit. It tends to take over in a good way!
Effect: This one hits like a freight train. It’s one of these strains where you can feel your eyes turn red pretty much right after you blow it out. 😂 it’s pretty sedating to me and has pretty substantial pain killing properties because I can feel the tension leave my shoulders right after I take a few dabs of this. The only con I would say about this is that my mouth tends to get a bit dry by as long as you’re not road dabbing this without a drink somewhere you’ll be alright. 👍
Overall: This is definitely another great cross from the Starburst #36 line Overthemoon has been working with the last few years. It’s personally my favorite one so far! Which is tough to say because I really like the sour starburst too. Full flava obviously did a great job with the extraction but that’s no surprise. Consider yourself lucky if you got this one because I know a lot of it got grabbed up right after it dropped. As always super grateful to try amazing gear by such talented farmers and extraction artists. 🤙
