Hash Review: GMO Live Rosin by Oregrown
We’ve got another high QPR badder up for review and it’s a very well known cultivar this time. GMO is a force in the solventless game due to consistently high yields and complex expressions. The standard is high, so let’s dig in to how this particular offering earned such a nice score.

Oregrown GMO Live Rosin Review
Appearance: Both the consistency and color are buttery. Shiny, yet relatively dry to the eye, it has a very soft texture that’s easy to work with. #oregrown recently added the UFO-adorned moisture seal to their jars, which is a nice touch.
Aroma: While not the loudest example of this cultivar, there’s a high level of complexity that incites a strong desire to d a b. The profile is Fruit/Fuel/Earth/Floral. Highlights include a bright, sharp, lemon drink powder note that’s accompanied by lime, acetone, body odor, bubblegum, pine and hibiscus.
Flavor: As with other samples of this and similar cultivars, we found this badder well suited to a variety of temps, with the most intensity and complexity coming at slightly higher heat than most of the r o s i n we review. 500-600 degrees is where it really happens. Garlic and onion are up front at 500, with earth, floral perfume, gas, citrus and pepper. Going to 550, it gets raunchier and sharper in flavor, while the clouds get thick and oily. Some of the fine detail seen at 500 fades here, but even 600 degrees produces solid results. Best thing to do is experiment and see which is most desirable on an individual basis.
Experience: This one hits quickly and is relaxing in both mind and body. The intensity is moderate to strong. It leaves the mind clear, but unworried. In moderate doses, it can be great for social situations, while larger servings can be very helpful with sleep and pain.
